Privacy Policy

Kazii is an AI-powered recruitment platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who sees it, and the choices you have. It covers job seekers, employers and their team members.

• Account data: name, email, password or Google sign-in identifier, role (job seeker, employer, administrator), profile photo.
• Job seeker profile: desired title and profession, skills, years of experience, education, industry, salary expectations, location, work-mode preference, availability.
• Documents: your CV (PDF/DOC/DOCX) and government ID images uploaded for identity verification.
• AI-derived data: extracted CV fields, AI summaries, employability, resume and interview-readiness scores, match scores and score breakdowns.
• Employer data: company name, logo, industry, size, location, description, team membership, job posts.
• Activity data: matches, saved jobs, applications (including Auto-Apply submissions), shortlists, pipeline stage changes, interviews, notifications, reports you file.
• Kazii Call data: connection and timing metadata for in-app video/voice interviews, plus in-call chat messages. Calls are peer-to-peer and are not recorded by Kazii.
• Technical data: device and browser information, log and error data, and security/audit records of administrative actions.

• To run your account and authenticate you.
• To generate AI match scores between candidates and jobs, and to explain those scores.
• To submit applications on your behalf when you enable AI Auto-Apply, within the rules you set.
• To analyse your CV and produce career insights, coaching and suggested skills.
• To let employers evaluate you once you apply, are matched with mutual interest, or are shortlisted.
• To schedule, run and remind you about interviews and Kazii Calls.
• To verify identity, prevent fraud and fake listings, moderate reported content, and keep an audit trail.
• To send in-app notifications and service announcements.

CVs, profile fields and job descriptions are sent to third-party AI models to extract structured information, score matches and generate text (summaries, job descriptions, rankings, coaching replies). We do not use your data to train public models. Automated scoring influences which jobs and candidates you see; a human — you or the employer — always makes the final decision, and every score can be inspected in the match breakdown.

• Employers see your name, photo, profile, experience, skills and CV when you apply, when interest is mutual, or when they shortlist you. They never see your government ID.
• Job seekers see company profiles and job posts, and the contact details an employer chooses to share.
• Kazii administrators can access accounts, jobs, applications and reports for support, moderation, verification and safety, with each action recorded in an immutable audit log. Access is limited by role.
• Service providers: our cloud database, authentication, storage and AI providers, acting on our instructions.
• Legal: where required by law or to protect users' safety and rights.

We do not sell your personal data.

Data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database protected by row-level security so each account only reaches its own records. Documents live in access-controlled storage served through short-lived signed links. Sensitive company contact fields and ID documents are restricted to their owners and authorised administrators. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

We keep your profile and documents while your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your profile, CV and ID documents; applications, interview records and audit logs may be retained for a limited period where employers or the law require a record. You can delete your CV or ID upload at any time from your profile — note that removing your CV disables Auto-Apply.

• Access, correct or update your profile directly in the app.
• Download or replace your CV, and re-run AI analysis.
• Turn AI Auto-Apply on or off, and change its thresholds and filters.
• Request deletion of your account and data.
• Object to or ask for a review of an automated decision that affects you.

We use cookies and browser storage strictly to keep you signed in, remember your role during sign-up and store interface preferences such as theme. We do not run advertising trackers.

Kazii is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
